Dan Cronyn

EVP of Growth at Novo

Dan Cronyn is a marketing and growth leader with over 20 years of experience. Currently, he leads the Growth team at Novo, driving the company’s customer acquisition and GTM strategy. Before joining Novo, Cronyn served as VP of Growth & Acquisition for password manager Dashlane. There, he started and scaled Dashlane’s growth team to more than 20 people and drove nearly 100% growth across their B2B and B2C security ecosystems.

Prior roles include co-founder and chief growth officer of reservation startup Hella Bella and VP of Growth for STEAM education startup littleBits, where he led the company through acquisition. Additionally, Cronyn has held growth and product roles at Movable Ink, TheLadders, and TripAdvisor.

In addition to his role at Novo, Cronyn runs a marketing consulting firm, working with companies of all sizes to develop their performance marketing and growth engines. His skills include SEO, SEM, email and affiliate marketing, and growth product management consulting.

He holds a BS in Marketing and English from Boston College.

Dani Lima

EVP of Infrastructure at Novo

Dani Lima serves as Novo’s EVP of Infrastructure, overseeing the company’s banking, credit, and payment operations, as well as risk & compliance processes. With over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry, Lima has advised on complex business problems, led multi-billion-dollar deals, and played an integral role in supporting the Federal Reserve during the 2008 financial crisis. Her specific expertise lies in corporate strategy, business partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and financial analysis.

Before joining Novo, Lima served as SVP of Strategy for Citigroup Latin America. Her previous experience includes M&A for HSBC and Evercore, Consumer Banking at Chase, Trade Credit Finance at Zurich, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Lima received her Master’s in International Economics from The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Efrain Goldenberg

Controller at Novo

Efrain Goldenberg is a Controller with 15 years of experience managing accounting and financial operations for US- and LatAm-based companies in the technology, media, and real estate sectors. Currently, he works as a Controller for Novo, where he works to develop the company’s financial strategy. His previous experience includes Cloud Kitchens and ViX, where he was responsible for launching operations in multiple countries and different capital raises. He also serves as a mentor for startups, helping founders with strategic, operational, and financial planning.

Goldenberg received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Buenos Aires.

Kevin Phillips

EVP of Financial Services at Novo

Kevin Phillips is a world-renowned senior executive with a record of building high-growth start-ups and leading large, complex organizations. Currently, he serves as EVP of Financial Services at Novo. His areas of expertise include organizational development, team building, technology, strategic planning, and finance.

Previously, Phillips served as an executive at Kabbage, one of the world’s most successful small business lending platforms. During his tenure at Kabbage, Phillips held multiple leadership positions, including CTO, CFO, and Head of Corporate Development. Prior to Kabbage, Phillips held C-level roles at several fast-growing technology startups, including CEO of Support Center Technologies and ZapMedia, COO, and CFO at Scientific Intake, and CIO at S1.

Phillips also runs a consulting business, advising Fintech companies on all aspects of their operations and growth. 

Phillips received his MBA from Georgia State University.

Meg Wheeler

Founder & CEO at The Equitable Money Project

Meg is a licensed CPA and financial literacy coach who helps small business owners set up, manage, and master the financial aspects of their businesses. Her accounting and tax firm, The Equitable Money Project, supports marginalized and underrepresented business owners through tax preparation, bookkeeping, financial education, and fractional CFO services. In all of their work, the Equitable Money Project emphasizes the importance of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.

Prior to founding the Equitable Money Project, Meg served as an Assistant Vice President of Tax Compliance & Reporting at Harvard Management Company. Before that, she was a Senior Associate in International Tax Consulting at Grant Thornton LLP.

Wheeler received her Bachelors in Economics and Philosophy from Connecticut College. She went on to receive her MBA and Masters in Accounting from D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.
