oday, we’re officially launching our Android public beta. We ran a successful private beta thanks to the hundreds of customers that participated over the past 2 months. We want to be as inclusive and accessible as possible, and our public beta is the next step in bringing the best small business banking solution to entrepreneurs like you. Now, every user can sign up and access their Novo checking account through an Android or iOS device.

You asked, and we listened

Android is the most used platform in the US, so of course we had a large number of customers asking for Android, so we made this a priority. Today, we’re excited to roll out an Android app that meets the standards of our award-winning iOS mobile app. This is a big step for us, and we hope you’re as thrilled as we are!

We couldn’t have done it without our customers!

Before rolling out the Android beta to the public, we ran a private beta and received so much valuable feedback from our customers. The closed beta included hundreds of Novo customers who interacted with us throughout as we developed the app.

They were part of the process early on, helping us find bugs and other issues to fix. Our ethos is all about working with customers to gather feedback and build our product together. And this initiative allowed us to develop the Android app with our customers, making sure they’re happy with the app and it’s up to their standards. The whole process has been a fantastic experience.

What’s next for us?

We care about working as closely as possible with our customers to provide the best possible business banking solution for them as we build our product. Android is a great example of that, and our future releases will also reflect that.

Our Android open beta is now available for download, and we’ll soon launch a full release of the app. We are also in private beta for our web app right now, so if you’re a current Novo customer, contact us, and we’ll add you to it. You can expect a public release of the web version in December.

The Takeaway

The public Android beta of the Novo app was made possible off the heels of a successful private beta. Getting feedback from our stellar customers gave us more confidence to create a product they’ll love. Thanks to them, the public can now try out the Android version of our app. Plus, the public release of the web app is coming next month.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
