Novo Promo Code Terms and Conditions
1. About This Offer
These Novo Media Partner Promo Code Offer terms and conditions ("Terms") are offered by Novo Platform, Inc. ("Novo"). They govern the offer under which an Eligible Business (as defined below) that enters a Promo Code (as defined below) in its application, opens a Novo business checking account ("Account"), and meets all requirements under these Terms may receive a Promo Bonus (as defined below) (all of the foregoing, the "Offer"). If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at support@novo.co.
Novo is the sole sponsor, issuer, and payer of the Offer. The Promo Bonus is payable only to a qualifying Eligible Business. No bonus, commission, or other compensation is payable to any other person under these Terms. Media Partners (as defined below) share Promo Codes on Novo's behalf only and are not issuers, payers, or guarantors of the Offer.
2. Definitions
The following defined terms apply throughout these Terms:
“Eligible Business” means a business applying for a Novo account, together with each individual who is a beneficial owner or controlling person of that business, where neither the business nor any of those individuals has ever held a Novo account or otherwise engaged with Novo as a customer.
“Balance” means the amount of money available in the account at the end of each business day, as determined by Novo at the close of that business day, counting only funds that came from qualifying external deposits (Section 6).
“Promo Code” means a unique alphanumeric code distributed by or on behalf of Novo through a Media Partner.
“Media Partner” means a third party (such as a podcast, radio program, influencer, or other content creator) that Novo has engaged to share a Promo Code with its audience through the third party’s own platform or channels.
“Offer Period” means, for each Promo Code, the period beginning at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on October 1, 2026 and ending at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on December 31, 2026, unless Novo specifies a different period for that Promo Code or ends it earlier under Section 7.
“Required Funding Amount” means one hundred dollars ($100), measured by your Balance.
“Minimum Balance Duration” means thirty (30) consecutive calendar days.
“Promo Bonus” means a one-time payment of fifty dollars ($50), which Novo will deposit into the Qualified Account within thirty (30) days after all requirements under these terms are met.“Account Opening Date” means the date Novo approves the customer’s account application.
“Authorized User” means any user authorized on the account in accordance with the Novo Business Account Agreement.
“Qualified Account” means a Novo business checking account that satisfies all eligibility requirements under these Terms.
“Complete Application” means an application for which the applicant has entered the Promo Code and submitted all required application information and documents, such that the only remaining step is Novo’s approval decision.
“Separate Entity” means a separately formed legal entity with its own Employer Identification Number (EIN).
3. Who's Eligible?
This offer is available only to a business that (a) has never previously held a Novo checking account, (b) is approved by Novo for a new Qualified Account during the applicable Offer Period, and (c) has not previously received a Promo Bonus. Each business may receive the Promo Bonus only once, even if it opens another Novo Checking account or uses a different Promo Code.
4. Entering the Promo Code
The Promo Code must be entered in the designated field in the Novo account application at the time of application and during the applicable Offer Period.
Only one Promo Code may be applied per application. A Promo Code may be added or corrected before the application is submitted but may not be added, changed, or removed after submission. Promo Codes are not applied retroactively to previously submitted applications.
5. Funding Requirement
To earn the Promo Bonus, you must meet all of the following requirements. If you do not meet every requirement, you will not receive the Promo Bonus.
- Funding deadline. Your Balance must reach or exceed the Required Funding Amount no later than thirty (30) days after your Account Opening Date. Multiple deposits are allowed, but the requirement is met only when your end-of-day Balance reaches the full Required Funding Amount.
- Holding period. Starting on the day your Balance first reaches the Required Funding Amount, you must hold that Balance for the Minimum Balance Duration. This period is a whole number of consecutive calendar days and may extend beyond day 30.
- No drops below the required amount. Your end-of-day Balance must remain at or above the Required Funding Amount on every business day of the Minimum Balance Duration. A single drop below that amount permanently disqualifies your account. Novo will not pay a partial bonus.
- What does not count. Only deposits from an external account at another financial institution, in the name of your business or an Authorized User, count toward your Balance. The following do not count: (a) transfers from any other Novo account; (b) credits issued by Novo; and (c) deposits that are reversed or returned.
6. Offer Period
Each Promo Code is valid only during the Offer Period for that Promo Code, beginning at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on the start date and ending at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the end date. Applications submitted outside the Offer Period are not eligible.
7. Code Deactivation and Notice
Novo may deactivate or withdraw any Promo Code at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason. After deactivation, the code will not be accepted for new applications, and subsequent applicants will be notified at code entry that the code is no longer valid.
8. Grandfathering
If a Promo Code is deactivated, an applicant will still qualify for the Promo Bonus if, before the effective time of deactivation, the applicant (1) entered the Promo Code in the application and (2) submitted a Complete Application, such that the only remaining step is Novo’s approval decision.
If the Promo Code was entered but the application was not a Complete Application at the time of deactivation, the applicant is not eligible, even if the application is completed after deactivation.
A grandfathered applicant may continue to earn the Promo Bonus under the terms in effect at the time the Complete Application was submitted, notwithstanding any subsequent deactivation, modification, or termination of the offer or these Terms (including any reserved rights under Section 25).
9. Multiple Businesses / Separate Entities
Each business that is a Separate Entity, and that independently satisfies all eligibility requirements, may qualify for a Promo Bonus in its own right, even if it shares a beneficial owner with another business that has received a Promo Bonus or other welcome bonus.
Businesses that are not Separate Entities (including sole proprietorships and other businesses reporting under the same taxpayer identification number) are treated as a single Eligible Business for all eligibility requirements, bonus limits, and caps under these Terms and the Novo referral program terms.10. General Terms
By entering a Promo Code in a Novo account application, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms. Novo decides, in its sole discretion, whether all eligibility requirements have been met, the identity and composition of any Eligible Business, and the amount of any Promo Bonus, and these decisions are final and binding. If Novo suspects, in its sole discretion, fraud, abuse, or a violation of these Terms or any other Novo agreement, Novo may at any time suspend your participation, deny any Promo Bonus, or deactivate any Promo Code. Any Promo Bonus obtained through fraud, abuse, error, or a violation of these Terms is void, and Novo may recover it, including by debiting any Novo account you hold, to the extent permitted by applicable law and the Business Account Agreement. Novo may request your taxpayer identification number and tax documentation (including IRS Form W-9), may withhold any Promo Bonus until you provide them, may report payments to the IRS on Form 1099-MISC, Form 1042-S, or any other required form, and may apply backup withholding where required by law. Promo Bonuses may be taxable income and may be reportable whether or not you receive a tax form, and you are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on any Promo Bonus. Novo does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice; consult your own tax advisor. Novo may terminate, suspend, or modify this offer or these Terms at any time without prior notice, but no such change will affect (a) any Promo Bonus already paid, (b) any Promo Bonus earned but not yet paid, or (c) any applicant's grandfathering rights under Section [8].
