Do I need an SSN or can I use an EIN to apply for an account?

Yes. You’ll need your SSN to apply. We use it to verify your identity.

You’ll also need:
Valid US residential address
Active US cell phone number (no virtual numbers)

Most businesses also need an EIN. The only exception is a single-member LLC with no employees that’s taxed as a disregarded entity. These can apply without an EIN.

Right now, we only accept applications from business owners who live in the US.
