Yes. We use two-factor authentication (2FA) to help protect your account.

You may be asked to enter a code sent to your email or phone when:
You sign in from a new device
You sign in from a new location

If you’re using a device you’ve signed in with before, you usually won’t be asked for a code every time.
But you may see more frequent 2FA requests if:
You travel often
Your location changes
You switch devices

Basically, this extra step helps keep your account secure without slowing you down each time.
