Can a fiduciary for my business open an account?

Updated June 18, 2026

After your account is opened, you can add one person as a fiduciary, as an added user on the account.

They'll need to be named in a valid trust document or appointed by a court (like an executor, administrator, or conservator), and you’ll need to provide that documentation.

Remember, a fiduciary is someone who can act on your business’s behalf— so make sure you trust them. They’ll have access to the account, and you’re responsible for how it’s used.
