How do I deposit checks into my account?

Check deposits are typically available within 1–4 business days.

Note that you can only deposit a check in the Novo app, not on desktop.

To deposit a check:

1. Log in to the app 2. Go to Move Money 3. Choose Deposit a Check 4. Enter the check amount 5. Enter the name on the check 6. Take photos of the front and back 7. Review and submit

Before sending your check, make sure:

Your check is made out to your name, an additional user on your account, or your business name or DBA You've signed the back of the check For mobile deposit at Novo” is written on the back Your writing is clear

Tips for making a deposit: Use a clean camera lens Place the check on a dark background Align the check within the frame If needed, take the photo manually
