What is a "descriptive withdrawal"?

Updated June 18, 2026

A “descriptive withdrawal” is when money leaves your account through an electronic transfer (ACH), but there isn't much information available about the transaction.

It’s essentially a catch-all description. It tells you a withdrawal happened, but doesn’t include clear information about the source or business.

If you don’t recognize the transaction, review your recent activity or contact support to take a closer look.
