Do I need a driver’s license or passport to apply for an account?

Yes. You’ll need a valid, government-issued ID.

You can use your:
US driver’s license
US state ID
Passport

Your ID must be unexpired and include your photo and signature. We don’t accept military IDs.
If your driver’s license is expired, you can use another valid ID, like a passport, green card, or passport card.

When you upload your ID, make sure:
All 4 corners are visible
The image is clear
The signature page is included

Because if anything’s missing, we’ll have to ask you to resubmit it.
