Why is my payment still pending?

A pending payment means the transaction has started, but the money hasn't fully processed yet.

Most transactions go through a pending stage.

Why a payment could still be pending: Processing time – Bank transfers (like ACH) usually take 1–3 business days Merchant timing – The business has approved the charge but hasn’t finalized it yet Weekends and holidays – Processing only happens on business days Cut-off times – Payments made after daily cut-offs start processing the next business day

In most cases, the payment will update once it finishes processing.
