How can I make a payment with "error in updating quote"?
This error can happen if your recipient doesn’t have a physical address saved in Wise.
Wise may not require an address when you first create a recipient. But if you’re sending US money (USD), a physical address is required. If it’s missing, the transfer can fail with this error.
How to fix it: 1. Log in to your Wise account 2. Choose Send Money 3. Choose Single Payment 4. Start a transfer to the same recipient (you can enter any amount) 5. When prompted, add the recipient’s physical address 6. Continue to the next step, then exit the transfer
This saves the address for that recipient.
After that, you should be able to complete the transfer without any issues in the Novo app.
