How do I add or remove an additional user?

Adding someone as an additional user gives them full access to your account, including the ability to move money. Customers must be 18 or older.

Partial or read-only access isn’t available at this time.

In the app:
1. Go to More
2. Select Settings
3. Tap Users
4. Tap Add User
5. Enter their name and email
6. Choose their role from the dropdown
7.(Optional) Request a debit card
8. Select Owner, then Full Account Permissions, and submit

On the web:
1. Go to Account Info
2. Select Users
3. Click Add User
4. Enter their name and email
5. Choose their role
6. Select Owner and submit

After you submit, they'll get an email invite. They’ll need to:
1. Create a login
2. Enter their personal details, including:
Legal name
Citizenship
Date of birth
Social Security number
Contact details
Mobile phone number
Personal address
3. Verify their identity
Driver's License or Passport

If approved, they’ll be added to your account.

If you run into any issues, contact Support online or in the app.

To remove an additional user from your account in the Novo app:
1. Go to Account
2. Select Settings
3. Tap Users
4. Select the user you want to remove
5. Delete the user

Once submitted, the user will lose access to the account and any cards will be deactivated. They'll be notified by email that they have been removed. Please note that this action can’t be undone.
